Blast from the High School Past

Today our close friend Matt drove over from Tallahassee for a quick day visit. After catching up, I took Josh and him on a?tour of my high school life. I showed them the extremely ghetto Food World I worked, which is now closed. Probably for breaking 1,000 code violations. We went to J.M. Tate High School and stopped on the football field so I could show off some old cheerleading moves. We drove by my old house and to my surprise, our street ghost is still there! I love that ghost. I pointed out the street Ben lived off of, where I used to get gas in Betty Lou, the Winn Dixie that my Marme and I used to go to daily to get dinner, and other oh-so-thrilling landmarks.?

Though it was fun to revisit the past, I’m very thankful that I no longer in that place in life. I’m happy with where I am now and with what my life has become.?

I love these pictures! And I love you guys a million times over.

I am super glad that we got to spend some time together. You are such special people to me and I’m glad that we are still in each other’s lives.

Hope to see you sooner than next Christmas.

I too am glad I am out of the panhandle. We are awesome. Clearly.
