Subliminal Messaging
I posted a while ago about the kick ass Celine Dion-themed google background Josue set for me. Since then he has sabotaged my computer 2 more times.
The first theme change was to Anne Geddes baby. If you get a thrill out of being scared, this is the background for you. These images freak me out. In one image a baby is supposed to be sleeping in some sort of flower, but it looks like a baby sleeping on a?fallopian tube. This is NOT okay.
The second theme and my current background is Call of Duty. For those of you not in the know (like me until 3 weeks ag0), Call of Duty is a video game about war with lots of shooting. Much to my disappointment, video games like this and Grand Theft Auto have become Josue’s new joy in life. Don’t get me wrong, I love picking up hoes off the street just like everyone else, I just don’t like hearing about it while I sleep.
I’ve been thinking about what these theme changes mean and I’ve come to the conclusion that it is Josue’s way of trying to convince me of something. Anne Geddes baby is his way of brainwashing me into wanting children. He’s had baby fever for a year now and I’m just not there. Scary flower/fallopian tube babies won’t get me there quicker either. The CoD theme, I believe, is his poor attempt to get me play video games with him. It’s not his first attempt nor will it be his last. Even though he thinks I’d be great at killing people, I just don’t see it. He tells me it’s all in the controller and once I have that down I’ll be a killing machine. Gee, just what I always wanted in life. The Celine Dion one is a little more difficult. Either he is telling me he’s gay or that he wants to go to Vegas. I sincerly hope it’s the latter because our plane tickets and hotel are booked.
